This month’s playlist is inspired by Puddles in the Pavement, a paranormal gaslamp mystery.
It’s book two of Tales from the Noctuary, which is a series of standalone historical novellas set in the same storyworld, but in different eras, with different and sometimes crossover characters. All the characters in this series can also be found in the Not the Same River series.
The playlist is wall-to-wall Victorian vibes, and includes Daddy Wouldn’t Buy Me a Bow Wow, an old music hall song that one of the characters sings in the book.
The first two books, Secrets at the Door and Puddles in the Pavement, can be found on all the major online retailers in ebook. There are currently no print editions.
